Computer-Aided Design Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Computer-Assisted Drafting professional to join our team at Nova Scotia Limited. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating detailed engineering designs and drawings, developing design sketches, and preparing construction specifications and estimates.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare accurate and detailed engineering designs and drawings using computer-aided design software.
- Develop and prepare design sketches and presentations to communicate design concepts to stakeholders.
- Prepare construction specifications, costs, and material estimates to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Write clear and concise technical reports and specifications to document design decisions and project outcomes.
- Examine drawings for conformity and errors to ensure high-quality design deliverables.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering or architecture.
- 3-5 years of experience in computer-assisted drafting and design.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in computer-aided design software, such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
