About the Role

Embark Student Corp. is seeking a skilled Solutions Architect to lead Enterprise Architect activities, translating business and technical requirements into an architectural blueprint. This role requires providing deliverables to the architecture review board, leading solutions design and analysis, and facilitating collaboration to deliver business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate, design, and analyze solutions architecture to create architectural designs that guide and contextualize solution development.
  • Manage and develop architecture for a broader scope of projects or products, analyzing the business-IT environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions.
  • Facilitate the evaluation and selection of software product standards and services, working closely with program management office, product owners, and product managers.
  • Provide detailed design within agile teams and deliver presentations to senior-level executives and technical audiences.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, system analysis, or related study.
  • 5+ years of IT architecture and solution integration experience, with 3+ years of experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs.
  • Good understanding of product management, agile principles, and development methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical, planning, organizational, and technical skills, with ability to work with developers in an in-and-out outsourced environment.
