Senior Labour Relations Expert

As a Senior Labour Relations Expert at Natural Factors, you will play a critical role in directing and overseeing all labour and employee relations initiatives. Your expertise will be essential in developing effective HR-related policies and procedures that align with our company's business plans.
Duties and Responsibilities- You will develop and implement written policies and procedures in the human resources area, representing industry-best practices and supporting our company's growth and efficiency.
- Provide guidance to regional Labour Relations/Human Resources teams on employee and labour matters, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- You will provide an overview of LR/ER legislative changes for communication to management and Human Resources teams, fostering a culture of transparency and compliance.
- Establish and maintain relationships with organized labour leaders representing our employees, promoting a collaborative work environment.
- Act as Spokesperson or guide and oversee industry negotiations for effective collective agreements, driving mutual understanding and respect between parties.
- Represent our company at hearings, tribunals, meetings, etc., regarding Union Certifications, Arbitrations, Human Rights, Pay Equity, and Employment Standards matters, upholding our reputation for integrity and fairness.
- You will oversee and provide guidance on disciplinary matters, grievance proceedings, and plans for labour arbitrations, ensuring just and equitable outcomes for all parties involved.
- A minimum of 6 years' experience in Labour Relations is required, with a proven track record of success in similar roles.
- Experience acting as a spokesperson and overseeing labour negotiations is essential, demonstrating your ability to communicate effectively and navigate complex situations.
- You possess thorough and complete knowledge of all applicable labour-related legislation and multi-provincial statutory requirements, ensuring compliance and accuracy in your work.
- Superior communication skills at all levels from the shop floor to the Boardroom are necessary, enabling you to build strong relationships and foster a positive work environment.
- Experienced with the implementation of HRIS and digital HR/payroll systems, you will leverage technology to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
This role is based out of our Winnipeg branch, serving as the head office for Central & Eastern Canada. The estimated salary range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
