Job Overview

Autodesk is seeking a skilled Cloud Software Engineer to join its development team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for designing and developing cloud services and products for global customers.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the full life cycle of software development, from design to deployment.
  • Design and implement software architecture to achieve business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and refine functional requirements.
  • Ensure high-quality performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Identify and resolve bottlenecks and bugs.
  • Model high code quality, organization, and automation.
  • Write and maintain code with attention to detail, perform peer code reviews, and participate in technical design discussions.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of software development experience.
  • Master's/Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Good knowledge of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming.
  • Expert-level programmer in Java.
  • Solid understanding of typical web architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with relational database technologies.
  • Good understanding of cloud service technologies.
  • Experience in developing large-scale software is a plus.
  • Experience in distributed cloud and high concurrency design is a plus.
  • Cloud service monitoring tool experience.
  • Experience in using AWS services.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and DevOps.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with database technologies.
  • Experience in big data analytics.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and capability to work on complex systems.
  • Familiarity with Linux/CentOS.
