Accessible Vehicle Operator

As a Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Specialist with Autolux Ltd. O/A Rapid City Transportation, you will be responsible for transporting passengers in wheelchair-accessible vehicles to pre-approved destinations in a safe and timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transport passengers in wheelchair-accessible vehicles, adhering to all road safety rules and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with passengers, dispatchers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless transportation services.
- Assist passengers with their needs, including carrying luggage, assisting with seatbelts, and providing general support.
- Work independently, using a combination of customer service, communication, and defensive driving skills to provide safe, calm, and reliable transportation.
Requirements:
- 10 years of driving experience with a valid G Driver's License.
- Good overall physical health and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to comfortably wear a protective mask and work with sanitizing products.
- Valid CPR Certificate and ability to provide a current police check, including a vulnerable sector search.
- Strong knowledge of the regional geographic area and the Greater Toronto Area.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English and provide excellent customer service.
