About the Role

This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours of work per week. As a Drywall Installation Specialist at S&A Drywall, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from residential to commercial construction sites.

The ideal candidate will possess strong physical abilities, including endurance and dexterity, as well as excellent communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and supervisors.

Responsibilities
  • Loading, unloading, and transporting drywall materials to construction sites
  • Mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt
  • Assisting medical examiners when necessary
  • Removing rubble and other debris from construction sites
  • Tending or feeding machines or equipment used in construction
  • Measuring, cutting, fitting, and installing drywall sheets
  • Filling joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Experience is an asset but not necessary
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Excellent physical fitness and stamina
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
