Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Rexall Pharmacy Group ULC. As a Pharmacy Technician, you'll play a vital role in ensuring excellence in patient care, customer service, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure accurate process flow related to patient records retention
  • Assist the Pharmacist with the preparation, packaging, and distribution of patient prescriptions
  • Evaluate legality, interpret, and input all prescriptions, labels, and consent forms to ensure patient information is up-to-date and in the pharmacy's computer system
  • Complete documentation, including third-party management and reconciliation, patient files, prescriptions, printing reports, and invoices
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace and dispensary
  • Support the pharmacy team with inventory management
Requirements
  • Completed a Pharmacy Technician Diploma or Bridging program from an accredited College
  • Successful completion of the PEBC Qualifying exam
  • Membership in good standing with the provincial College of Pharmacists
  • 1 year of continuous working experience in a pharmacy environment
  • Proficient computer knowledge and skills, with Windows proficiency required
