Veterinary Support Specialist for Dentistry Calgary

The Calgary Animal Referral and Emergency Centre (CARE Centre) is a 24-hour emergency and referral specialty hospital committed to providing the highest level of care to pets and their owners.
Salary:$45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience
Job DescriptionThis full-time position involves assisting our experienced veterinary dentists and assistants with daily tasks and patient care. Your primary role will be to provide top-notch support in our dynamic environment.
- Assist veterinarians and assistants during medical procedures, including sample collection, radiography, and surgery preparation.
- Provide excellent client communication, updating pet owners on their pets' condition, discussing treatment options, and handling discharges.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Develop strong relationships with clients and colleagues through exceptional interpersonal skills.
To succeed in this role, you should possess strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. Previous veterinary experience, preferably in a clinic setting, is required.
