Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Structural Metal Worker to join our team at Superior Truck & Trailer Repair Services Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assembling and fabricating metal structures, ensuring high-quality products that meet our customers' expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lay out reference points and patterns to ensure accurate assembly and fabrication of metal structures.
  • Assemble and fit plates and sections to form structures, using a combination of welding and bolting techniques.
  • Set up and operate heavy-duty metal-working machines, such as brakes, presses, and grinders.
  • Construct patterns and templates to facilitate efficient fabrication and assembly processes.
  • Install fabricated components in final products, ensuring precise fit and finish.
  • Rig, hoist, and move materials to storage areas or within the worksite, maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in metal fabrication and assembly.
  • Strong understanding of metalworking principles and techniques.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and high-quality standards.
  • Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 30-hour workweek. The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent organizational and reliability skills, able to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and safety.
