Job Title: Truck Equipment Maintenance Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Truck Equipment Maintenance Assistant to join our team at MYT Trucking Ltd.

About the Role

This is a physically demanding role that requires a high level of manual dexterity, stamina, and ability to work under pressure. As a Truck Equipment Maintenance Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting tradespersons and other workers with equipment maintenance tasks, including cleaning machines and work areas, moving tools and equipment, and signaling safety procedures to others.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist tradespersons and other workers with equipment maintenance tasks, following established safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Clean and maintain equipment and work areas, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Move tools, equipment, and materials as required, adhering to loading and unloading procedures.
  • Signal safety procedures to other workers and members of the public, promoting a culture of safety and awareness.
  • Support experienced tradespeople in their daily tasks, learning new skills and contributing to the success of the team.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with colleagues and clients.
  • Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labor, lifting up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) and working in various weather conditions.
