Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Planning and Analysis professional to join our team at NAIT. As a key member of our Financial Planning and Analysis department, you will play a critical role in providing financial leadership and expertise to support the organization's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide financial planning, analysis, and leadership to support business operations and decision-making
  • Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Collaborate with senior management and other stakeholders to identify and implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives
  • Participate in investigations and audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration
Requirements
  • Several years of progressive senior accounting experience relevant to the position
  • Excellent knowledge of full accounting cycle, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash receipts, reconciliation, inventory management, internal controls, and contract management
  • Experience working in a PeopleSoft enterprise system environment is an asset
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and develop recommendations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
