Job Summary

Slegg Building Materials is seeking a skilled driver to deliver building materials to customers. The ideal candidate will have a valid Class 5 BC driver's license and experience driving 3-ton and 5-ton cube vans.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver building materials to customers in a timely and efficient manner
  • Operate 3-ton and 5-ton cube vans safely and efficiently
  • Load and unload trucks as needed
  • Perform safety pre-trip inspections on Slegg vehicles
  • Communicate with customers and other trades on construction sites
  • Verify load security and accuracy
  • Perform call aheads for each delivery
  • Follow all regulations, company policies, and procedures

Requirements

  • Valid Class 5 BC driver's license
  • Previous driving experience
  • Ability to lift heavy products
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts
