We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Shared Health Inc.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for operating radiological equipment, preparing patients for imaging procedures, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities:- Operate radiological equipment, including X-ray machines, CT scanners, and MRI machines
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including explaining procedures, positioning patients, and ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Maintain a safe and efficient work environment, including cleaning and maintaining equipment, and adhering to radiation safety protocols
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely imaging results
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
- Certification of the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists
- College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a radiological laboratory or hospital setting
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
