About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Developer to join our team at THE SNOWFLAKE DESIGN COMPANY LTD. as a key member of our development team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Clients: Work closely with clients to understand their website requirements and develop effective solutions.
  • Content Creation: Design and optimize engaging content for our clients' websites using a range of graphics, databases, animation, and other software tools.
  • Software Evaluation: Research and assess various interactive media software products to ensure they meet our clients' needs.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing and perform security and quality control checks to ensure the highest standards are met.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Participate in government or community programs that support newcomers and refugees, providing assistance with settlement needs and social and labour market integration.
  • Support for Youth: Join initiatives that support youth employment, offering on-the-job training, mentorship, and networking opportunities.
  • Support for Indigenous People: Participate in programs that support Indigenous people, providing mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities, as well as cultural competency training.
  • Support for Visible Minorities: Apply hiring policies that discourage discrimination against visible minorities, offering mentorship programs and diversity training.
Requirements
  • Education: A college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
