About the Role

G.S. Dunn Limited is seeking a highly skilled Feed Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a Feed Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our feed products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Control: Conduct routine tests for product specifications, examine ingredients or finished products to ensure conformance to company standards, and advise supervisors of ingredient or product deficiencies.
  • Sampling and Testing: Take samples of products at various stages of processing and conduct quality control checks to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Hygiene and Sanitation: Ensure hygiene and sanitation practices conform to policies and regulations, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Computer and Technology: Have knowledge of HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points) and be proficient in using computer systems for quality control and record-keeping.
  • Transportation and Travel: Own transportation and be able to travel to various locations as required.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Be able to perform repetitive tasks, have attention to detail, and be able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
  • Personal Suitability: Possess efficient interpersonal skills, be reliable, and have excellent oral communication skills.
  • Experience: Have 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.

Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
