Job Description

Night Housekeeping Associate

Are you a detail-oriented individual who enjoys working independently? Do you have a keen eye for cleanliness and organization? We are seeking a Night Housekeeping Associate to join our team at the Hampton Inn and Suites, Dartmouth. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the public areas of the hotel are clean and tidy, including the lobby, corridors, and guestroom landings. You will also be responsible for maintaining a high level of organization and stock levels in your assigned areas. As a Night Housekeeping Associate, you will be a key member of our housekeeping team and will be expected to work collaboratively with your colleagues to ensure the highest level of service to our guests.

Responsibilities

  • Focus on Details - Ensure public areas are clean and tidy, reporting any missing or damaged items to management.
  • Be Organized - Maintain a high level of organization and stock levels in your assigned areas.
  • Be a Team Player - Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the highest level of service to our guests.
  • Be a Housekeeping Ambassador - Provide a warm and welcoming experience for our guests.
  • Be a Safety & Security Agent - Follow hotel safety and security policies and procedures.

Requirements

Job Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need basic English communication skills and prior housekeeping experience. You will also need to be able to safely operate equipment such as vacuum cleaners and floor buffers. Heavy work is required, with the ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally. You will need to be able to stand for long hours and work in variable temperatures and noise levels.
