Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Lot Attendant to join our team at 401 Auto. As a Lot Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and orderly parking of vehicles in our lot, verifying the receipt of cars, and performing various tasks to maintain the lot's appearance and organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify the receipt of cars and park them in a safe and orderly manner
  • Compare serial numbers of incoming cars against invoices
  • Inspect cars for damage and verify the presence of accessories listed on the invoice
  • Record descriptions of damages and list missing items on the delivery receipt
  • Assign stock control numbers to cars and catalog and store keys
  • Re-park cars after sales to maximize space and maintain the lot's order
  • Run errands for the dealership, such as picking up parts or customers
  • Clean vehicle exteriors by hand, brush, or washing equipment and vacuum, shampoo, and clean vehicle interiors
  • Polish, dry, and clean vehicle windshields, windows, lights, mats, and exterior body
  • Clean, protect, and preserve vehicle interiors and exteriors, including wheels, tires, and wheel wells
  • Perform basic maintenance checks, including the antenna, under the hood, inside the vehicle, inside the trunk, and outside the vehicle
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by the supervisor
Requirements
  • Valid G Driver's License
  • Clean Driver's Abstract
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle (considered an asset)
  • Comfortable working outdoors
