Job Description

What is the opportunity?

The Royal Bank of Canada is seeking a seasoned Senior Archer Developer to lead the design, development, and enhancement of the Archer Platform. This critical role will drive business outcomes by delivering robust and scalable solutions to support stakeholders across the bank.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and document unit tests, ensuring thorough system, integration, and acceptance testing within the Archer application.
  2. Conduct analyses of organizational needs and goals for the development and implementation of application systems.
  3. Maintain in-depth knowledge of Governance, Risk, and Compliance standards and procedures.
  4. Provide leadership and guidance to the project delivery team.
  5. Prepare high-level and detailed technical specifications, user stories for medium to large projects in accordance with the Agile framework.
  6. Implement complex workflows, integrations, business rules, and data structures in the application.

Requirements:

  1. 5+ years of Archer development experience.
  2. Project delivery experience on GRC projects, specifically Regulatory Compliance, Operational Risk, IT Risk, Disaster Recovery, Supplier Risk, and Privacy Risk.
  3. SDLC process and Agile project methodology experience.
  4. Knowledge of IT Standards, Methodologies & Audit requirements.
  5. Strong knowledge and understanding of workflow design and application development techniques.
