Job Title: Production Painter

We are seeking a skilled Production Painter to join our team at SCT WELDING LASER & MANUFACTURING CO.

Job Summary:

The Production Painter will be responsible for painting and coating various metal products, including aircraft and motor vehicles, construction materials, and ornamental ironwork. The ideal candidate will have experience with metal spray equipment, micrometers, and other related tools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and prepare work areas for painting and coating
  • Organize and maintain inventory of paints and coatings
  • Read and interpret blueprints and specifications for coating and painting
  • Check the thickness of coatings using micrometers and other devices
  • Clean and maintain equipment, including metal spray equipment
  • Paint small items and apply touch-ups using paint brushes
  • Prepare and mix metallizing solutions according to formulas or specifications
  • Select appropriate paints or mix paints for specific applications
  • Tend or operate equipment to spray or coat metal products
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Organized and reliable with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a physically demanding environment
