Electrical Engineer - Product Development

At JTEKT Corporation, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in Halifax, NS, Canada. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining electrical systems for our electromechanical products, including steering and driveline products for the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain electrical systems for our products
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop new products
  • Conduct testing and validation of electrical systems
  • Identify and implement process improvements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 5-7 years of experience in electrical engineering
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems and design principles
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
