Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety Officer to join our team at Puglisevich Crews and Services Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment for our employees and contractors, and for implementing and maintaining health and safety policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular workplace inspections to identify potential hazards and implement controls to mitigate risks
  • Develop and implement health and safety training programs for employees and contractors
  • Investigate incidents and accidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety legislation and regulations
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a safety-related role
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
