Job Title: Offset Press Operator

We are seeking a skilled Offset Press Operator to join our team at Krystalite Gt Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining our offset printing presses, ensuring high-quality prints and efficient production processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain offset printing presses to produce high-quality prints
  • Mount plates and cylinders, and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal print quality
  • Review job orders to determine production time, colour sequence, and quantities required
  • Filling ink fountains and controlling colour and viscosity
  • Setting up press and operating at slow speed to check samples
  • Monitoring regular press run for quality using computer control console
  • Removing and cleaning plates and cylinders at end of press run
  • Directing press crew to set up, operate, and shut down press
