Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installer and Finisher to join our team at Jackman Drywall Ltd. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for installing and finishing drywall in commercial and residential settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints to ensure a smooth finish
  • Install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners and fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids
  • Clean and prepare surfaces, measure, cut, and install drywall sheets, and position and secure them to metal or wooden studs or joists
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound
  • Work at heights, in cold environments, and in dusty conditions, and handle heavy loads and work under pressure
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in drywall installation and finishing
  • Ability to work at heights, in cold environments, and in dusty conditions
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work under pressure
