About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and team-oriented individual to join our kitchen team as a Kitchen Assistant. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, ensuring that all food and supplies are properly stored and handled, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, surfaces, and storage areas to maintain a high level of hygiene and safety.
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas, ensuring that all products are properly labeled and stored.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit, and assist with food preparation as needed.
  • Stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors.
Requirements
  • Reliability and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Availability to work 35-40 hours per week.
