{"Job Title: Head Cashier Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Cashier to join our team at Giant Tiger in Miramichi. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for ensuring a high level of customer service, training cashiers on point of sale and customer service procedures, and completing ordering and replenishment of checkout merchandise. Key Responsibilities: * Ensure a high level of customer service * Train all cashiers on point of sale, customer service, and checkout procedures * Complete ordering and replenishment of checkout merchandise * Responsible for opening and closing the store on a rotating basis * Ensure compliance of all checkout policies on a daily basis * Ensure health and safety policies and guidelines are followed * Ensure the checkout work area is kept clean and organized * Ensure Loss prevention best practices are followed * Ensure compliance of all policies when selling Tobacco and Lottery * Opening and closing the store on a rotating basis * Resolve customer complaints quickly and professionally Requirements: * Effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills * Excellent customer service skills * Supervisory experience an asset * Attention to detail * Minimum of 1 year experience in a retail environment Work Schedule: A typical full-time schedule will consist of day shifts, two evenings per week, and alternating weekends with a schedule of 35-40 hours weekly.
