About the Job

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Commis Fruits et Légumes A12 to join our team at Metro Inc. As a key member of our fruit and vegetable department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and ensuring that our products are displayed and priced correctly.

Responsibilities
  • Receive and stock merchandise, including fruits, vegetables, and other products, in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Prepare and display fruits and vegetables, including weighing, packaging, and labeling, according to department standards.
  • Perform price changes on shelves and products as needed.
  • Rotate merchandise and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Respect and maintain government health and safety standards.
  • Wear required safety equipment and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Perform other related tasks as required by your supervisor.
Requirements
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Initiative and autonomy to take ownership of tasks and responsibilities.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is an asset.
