Key Responsibilities- Cutting and Preparing Meat: Clean and cut meats to prepare for processing or cutting, and prepare special cuts of meat ordered by customers.
- Meat Handling and Preparation: Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat, wrap and package prepared meats, and remove bones from meat.
- Poultry and Seafood Preparation: Cut poultry into parts, clean and prepare fish and shellfish, and cut fish into steaks and fillets.
- Meat Grinding and Slicing: Grind meats and slice cooked meats.
- Display and Presentation: Prepare special displays of meats, poultry, and fish products, and shape, lace, and tie roasts, other meats, poultry, and seafood.
- Work Conditions: Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Physical Demands: Physically demanding.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Benefits: Paid time off (volunteering or personal days), permanent employment, and 35 hours of work per week.
