About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our client's team in Saint-Hyacinthe. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the complete accounting cycle, including financial statement preparation, budgeting, and forecasting.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage the accounting department and supervise administrative support staff.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Develop and implement financial plans and forecasts to achieve business objectives.
  • Identify and analyze financial trends and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve financial performance.
  • Manage the company's tax obligations and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Supervise the payroll process and ensure accurate payment of employee salaries.
Requirements
  • BAC in accounting or equivalent experience.
  • 4-8 years of experience.
  • Excellent command of Office suite.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems: Microsoft Business Central/Dynamics/Navision.
  • Experience in the manufacturing sector.
  • Bilingualism, the person will have to interact with the financial controller in Chicago.
  • Autonomous, resourceful, with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and make proactive decisions.
  • Attention to detail, rigor, and sense of precision.
