Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Welding Specialist to join our team at Quick Lube Wash & Truck Trailer Repairs. As a Welding Specialist, you will be responsible for interpreting welding process specifications, operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, and ensuring that welds meet standards and/or specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret welding process specifications and blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication and repair of metal parts and products.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, including flame-cutting equipment, to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
  • Examine welds to ensure they meet standards and/or specifications, and perform minor repairs on welding equipment as needed.
  • Determine weldability of materials and operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to company safety protocols and procedures.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience an asset, but not required.
  • Ability to work in a dusty, noisy, and odorous work environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet quality standards.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position, working 35 to 40 hours per week. The language of work is English.
