Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Audit Manager, Methodology to join our team at BMO. As a key member of our Corporate Audit practice, you will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives and ensuring that our audit practices are up-to-date, meet professional standards, and continually evolve.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a robust Quality Assurance program to ensure industry and professional standards are met.
  • Provide advice to business teams on risk, governance, and internal controls.
  • Meet regularly with key stakeholders to provide insights into changes and their impact on methodology and/or quality assurance.
  • Lead the execution of operational programs and assess their quality of execution.
  • Develop and deliver training modules on Corporate Audit methodology, processes, and workflow tools.
  • Provide input into Corporate Audit processes and identify opportunities to simplify.
  • Prepare clear, concise communications to audit teams.
  • Execute work to deliver timely, accurate, and efficient service.
Requirements
  • Typically 7+ years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Professional designations or business designations such as CIA, CPA-Audit.
  • Seasoned professional with a combination of education, experience, and industry knowledge.
  • Verbal and written communication skills - In-depth/Expert.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills - In-depth/Expert.
  • Influence skills - In-depth/Expert.
  • Collaboration and team skills with a focus on cross-group collaboration - In-depth/Expert.
