Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and present financial models, manage treasury functions, prepare forecasts, and collaborate with senior management to monitor key business metrics.
  • Mentor, manage, and inspire your team while fostering collaboration across departments.
  • Establish budget guidelines, prepare the annual budget, and deliver timely, accurate financial reports aligned with GAAP.
  • Track financial performance for each project, ensuring compliance with contracts and funding agreements.
  • Build relationships with Export Development Canada, banking partners, the CRA, foreign tax offices, and external accountants.
Requirements:
  • CPA designation (or equivalent experience in finance leadership).
  • 7+ years in senior accounting, as a Manager, or related roles.
  • Expertise in project accounting and export financing is a major asset.
  • A collaborative, detail-oriented mindset with a knack for clear communication.
