Job Title: Housekeeping Supervisor

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Westport Inn. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of housekeeping staff, ensuring that our hotel, motel, and resort facilities meet the highest standards of safety and cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and effective cleaning and maintenance of hotel facilities.
  • Inspect sites or facilities to ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Recommend or arrange for additional services required, such as painting, repair work, renovations, or replacement of furnishings and equipment.
  • Assist housekeeping staff in performing duties as needed.
  • Coordinate work activities with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Establish work schedules to ensure adequate staffing and coverage.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Work Setting: Hotel, motel, resort.

Work Term: Permanent.

Work Language: English.

Hours: 40 hours per week.
