Sustainability Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Open Learning Faculty Member to join our team at Thompson Rivers University.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and facilitating online courses in the area of green building and sustainability. This will involve developing and delivering course materials, assessing student work, and providing feedback and support to students.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver high-quality online course materials that meet the needs of students
- Assess student work and provide timely and constructive feedback
- Provide support and guidance to students through regular communication and online interactions
- Stay up-to-date with developments in the field of green building and sustainability
- Collaborate with other faculty members and staff to ensure a high-quality learning experience for students
- Professional Engineer, Registered Architect, or Building Technologist with at least five years of experience
- LEED AP or LEED Green Associate certification
- Experience with green building ratings systems, specifically LEED
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the subject matter of the course
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative online environment
