Process System Engineer

About the Role:
AtkinsRéalis is seeking a highly skilled Process System Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering group, you will be responsible for designing and assessing process systems, structures, and components for nuclear power plants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and review design documents, including design calculations, design requirements, assessments, technical specifications, drawings, and bill of materials.
- Perform thermalhydraulic evaluations on complex systems and prepare engineering packages.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver engineering projects on time and within budget.
- Support engineering management with timely updates on project progress.
Requirements:
- Registered as a Professional Engineer in Ontario.
- Engineering degree from an accredited University in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, or Engineering Science.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in process-system design/analysis, preferably in the nuclear power plant industry.
- Experience with analytical tools, such as ANSYS, Mathcad, Flomaster, NUCIRC, CATHENA, or similar.
- Working knowledge of CSA B51 standard, ASME Section III, ASME B31.1 codes, and nuclear Codes and Standards or regulatory guides.
- Excellent communication and technical writing skills.
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment.
