About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Caregiving Assistant to join our team at Caregiving. As a Caregiving Assistant, you will provide high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to our clients, engaging in activities such as conversation, reading, and watching movies.
  • Light Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including laundry, meal preparation, and grocery shopping.
  • Medication Management: Assist clients with taking their medications as prescribed.
  • Transportation: Accompany clients on outings and errands, providing transportation as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a caregiving role.
  • Skills: Organized, reliable, patient, and honest.
Work Environment

Our clients live in non-smoking environments, and we offer optional accommodation at no charge on a live-in basis. This is not a condition of employment.
