Job Summary:

We are currently hiring a skilled and meticulous Automotive Surface Specialist to become a valued member of our team. The primary duties involve preparing vehicles for the painting process, which includes tasks such as sanding, priming, and masking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sand the vehicle surfaces to create a smooth surface for painting
  • Apply masking tape and paper to protect areas that will not be painted
  • Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer
  • Ensure proper adhesion of paint by removing dirt, debris, and imperfections from the surfaces
  • Assist with mixing paint and primers according to manufacturer specifications
  • Collaborate with the painting team to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality work

Requirements

  • Previous experience as an Automotive Surface Specialist or in a similar role
  • Knowledge of different sanding and masking techniques
  • Familiarity with automotive paints, primers, and painting equipment
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
