At Lex Metal Fabricators Ltd., we are seeking a skilled Welder Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the welding operations and ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimate costs and materials to ensure accurate budgeting and resource allocation.
  • Operate CADD and other computer software systems to design and plan welding projects.
  • Prepare production and other reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Train or arrange for training to ensure that all team members have the necessary skills and knowledge.
  • Co-ordinate and schedule activities to ensure smooth workflow and minimize downtime.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies to ensure that all necessary resources are available.
  • Set up machines and equipment to prepare for production.
  • Supervise workers and projects to ensure that all tasks are completed to a high standard.
  • Recommend personnel actions such as hiring and promotions to support the growth and development of the team.Supervision

    You will be responsible for supervising a team of 5-10 people, providing guidance and support to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.

    • Work Term: Permanent and Work Language: English to ensure that all communication is clear and effective.
    • Hours: 40 to 44 hours per week to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
