We are seeking a skilled Construction Insulation Specialist to join our team at PB-23 DRYWALL & CONSTRUCTION LTD.
About the Role:This is a permanent, full-time opportunity for a qualified individual with experience in construction insulation. As a Construction Insulation Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that buildings are properly insulated to meet energy efficiency standards.
You will work closely with our team to identify and select the right types of insulation materials, measure and cut them to size, and apply them using various methods. You will also supervise other workers and ensure that all tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:- Selecting and applying insulation materials to meet building codes and regulations
- Measuring and cutting insulation materials to fit specific shapes and dimensions
- Applying and securing insulation using various methods, including spraying, blowing, pasting, strapping, taping, and more
- Fitting insulation around obstructions and between joists and studs
- Installing vapour barriers and fire-retardant materials
- Supervising other workers and ensuring that all tasks are completed safely and efficiently
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in construction insulation
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
- Knowledge of underground conduits and piping, steam and condensate process lines, precipitators, turbines, kilns, plumbing, cold water and drain lines, refrigeration, ventilation and exhaust, hot water system and equipment, and air conditioning systems
- Ability to stand for extended periods, handle heavy loads, and perform physical tasks such as bending, crouching, and kneeling
- Competitive salary: $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience
