Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Vanier area. Responsibilities- To deliver professional nursing care to residents, adhering to established policies, physician orders, and resident plans of care.
- To assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet the physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs of residents.
- To ensure timely and safe admissions, transfers, and discharges, including comprehensive orientation to our home and services.
- To maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or equivalent degree.
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses.
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of Long Term Care Act, Program Standards for Long Term Care, and relevant Federal, Provincial, and Municipal Statutes.
- Medical Clearance, Vulnerable Sector Police Check, and Clear Criminal Record check.
