Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Canadian Tire Gas Bar. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hiring and Training: Recruit, train, and develop a team of retail staff to provide exceptional customer service and meet sales targets.
  • Merchandising and Inventory: Order merchandise, manage inventory levels, and maintain a visually appealing store display.
  • Sales and Customer Service: Sell merchandise, resolve customer complaints, and provide excellent customer service to drive sales growth and customer loyalty.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare sales reports, analyze sales data, and provide insights to improve store performance.
  • Store Operations: Establish work schedules, manage cash handling, and maintain a clean and safe store environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of retail experience.
  • Work Setting: Retail business.
  • Supervision: 1 to 2 people.
  • Security and Safety: Criminal record check.
  • Transportation/Travel: Willing to travel.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, handling heavy loads, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, organized, reliability, team player, dependability, initiative, ability to multitask.
