Pulse Excavating (NB) Ltd. is seeking a skilled Plastering Specialist to join our team. As a Plastering Specialist, you will be responsible for applying successive coats of compound and sanding seams and joints. You will also apply, level, and smooth coats of plaster, clean and prepare surfaces, and cure freshly plastered surfaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints
  • Apply, level, and smooth coats of plaster
  • Clean and prepare surfaces
  • Cure freshly plastered surfaces
  • Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife
  • Finish corners and angles and create decorative designs in the finish coat, if required
  • Mix plaster ingredients to the desired consistency
  • Mould and install ornamental plaster panels, cornices, and trim
  • Smooth out excess compound and allow the coat to dry
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound
  • Prepare wall and ceiling layouts
  • Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms

This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week. English or French language skills are required.
