Job Role: Data Architect
Overview:
As a Data Architect at Mindlance, you will be responsible for ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data throughout the organization. This includes performing data assessments, deploying application classification assessments, and ensuring data flows and cartography are up to date.
Responsibilities:
- Perform data assessments on new deployed applications as part of the ITSVC review process and compute CIAT values for the AppSec team to review and validate.
- Ensure CIAT values for existing applications are well documented and validated by the CDO ITO and regional CISO.
- Identify all information entities that are consumed, produced, transferred, or modified as part of the ITSVC and their required attributes.
- Liaise with the Data Office to validate the confidentiality level of these information entities.
- Work with the Central data architecture team to incorporate any specific regional classification rules in the catalog.
- Liaise with the DPO and CDO teams if personal data is involved in any project.
- Document the feedback provided by the CDO/DPO in the Readiness Assessment form.
- Generate the Information Model for the ITSVC.
- Identify and document all data flows that are in scope of the project.
- Update the catalog with new or decommissioned flows.
- Follow the Data Recertification process for all DAPs in scope on a periodic basis.
- Coordinate with regional AppSec and CISO teams to assign official CIAT values to each deployed application.
