Job Summary:As the Accounting Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the financial reporting process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. You'll manage a team of accountants, handle month-end and year-end cycles, and work closely with internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead and mentor a team of 6 accounting professionals
- Oversee the preparation of quarterly and annual financial reports
- Manage month-end tasks like reviewing journal entries and accruals
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and contribute to external audits
- Assist with continuous improvement projects and systems implementations
- CPA designation would be considered an asset
- Bachelor's in Accounting would be considered an asset
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, ideally in a large organization
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting
- Leadership experience with a focus on team development
- Bilingual (English/French) and proficiency in Microsoft Office
