At ATS Software, we are seeking a seasoned Quality Assurance Team Lead to join our team for an 11-month contract. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of QA engineers to ensure effective execution of quality assurance processes.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software quality assurance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. You should have strong knowledge of QA methodologies, testing tools, and best practices. A solid understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and Agile methodologies is also essential.
This role involves:
- Leadership & Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers to ensure effective execution of quality assurance processes.
- Test Planning & Strategy: Collaborate with the product management and development teams to define testing requirements, create test plans, and design test cases for new and existing products.
- Test Execution & Reporting: Oversee the execution of functional, regression, and performance tests, ensuring that results are documented clearly.
- Automation: Implement and maintain automated testing scripts and frameworks to streamline testing efforts and improve test coverage.
- Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects through the defect management process.
Required skills and qualifications include 7+ years of proven experience in software quality assurance, strong knowledge of testing methodologies, and expertise in API testing and database testing. If you are a motivated and experienced QA professional looking for a new challenge, please apply.
