Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Professional to join our team at Cardinal Health Canada. As an Accounting Professional, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records, as well as providing support to various departments and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Analysis and Reporting
    • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
    • Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support business decisions.
  • Accounting and Compliance
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, laws, and regulations.
    • Prepare and submit financial reports to regulatory bodies and stakeholders.
  • Financial Planning and Budgeting
    • Develop and manage budgets and financial plans to support business objectives.
    • Monitor and analyze financial performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Team Collaboration and Communication
    • Provide financial guidance and support to various departments and stakeholders.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
    • Post-graduate diploma in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience
    • 2-4 years of experience in accounting and financial analysis.
    • Experience with JD Edwards, SAP, Concur, and Blackline is an asset.
  • Skills
    • Strong accounting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to clearly identify issues and bring them to a resolution.
    • Self-starter with a process improvement mindset.
