About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Azure DevOps Engineer to join our Technology Solutions Team at Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, and maintaining Azure DevOps pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement Azure DevOps pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes.
  • Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines for multiple projects teams/projects ensuring that software is delivered to production and other environments efficiently and reliably.
  • Create and manage development, staging, and production environments ensuring consistency and alignment with project requirements.
  • Manage source code repositories, branching strategies, and version control using Azure DevOps and Git.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation for DevOps processes, procedures, and infrastructure configurations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate the software development process and streamline workflows.
  • Complete application development projects for SDLC implementation into production.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Management, or a related field.
  • A strong expertise in Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
  • A proven experience as an Azure DevOps engineer or similar role.
  • A familiarity with source control systems and branching strategies.
  • Source code management and DevOps with Azure DevOps and Git.
  • An experience working with cloud platforms (Azure (preferred), AWS, GCP) Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions App, Azure Service Bus, and API Management.
Preferred Qualifications
  • A graduate degree or certificate in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Management, or a related field.
  • Technical certifications in application architecture, cloud development, and administration (ex. Azure Administrator, Azure developer, DevOps Engineer).
