The ideal candidate will have one to five years of experience in research, drafting, and advocacy. A strong background in administrative law, labour and employment law, professional discipline, and commercial disputes is essential.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a team of experienced lawyers representing clients before various tribunals, including the Ontario Labour Relations Board, the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario, and the Assessment Review Board.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $50,000.00-$80,000.00 per year. The successful candidate will be required to work Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work as needed.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct research and provide expert advice on complex legal matters
- Prepare and draft legal documents, including court pleadings and tribunal submissions
- Represent clients before various tribunals and courts
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective legal strategies
To be considered for this role, candidates must have a strong academic background in law and relevant work experience. Excellent research, drafting, and advocacy skills are essential. The ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex legal concepts to clients is also required.
