Operating Room Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Operating Room Nurse to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As an Operating Room Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
About the Role:- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care and nursing practice activities within the framework of quality management and in accordance with Northern Health Authority policies and accepted standards.
- Collaborate with the OR Charge nurse and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and efficient operating room operations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide exceptional care and support.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest medical procedures and technologies.

- Post-basic training and/or one year's recent related clinical experience in an OR/PAR/PACU setting and/or one (1) year recent related clinical experience in a critical care area or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Current up-to-date immunization record.
- Successful completion of Criminal Record Check.
- ACLS preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Demonstrated ability to organize assigned workload and set priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to deal effectively with a variety of internal and external contacts.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
- Ability to operate related equipment.
