About the Role

At United Software Group Inc, we're looking for a seasoned Machine Learning Engineer to join our team and contribute to designing, developing, and deploying AI/ML solutions for US Healthcare clients. This role will focus on building machine learning models to address specific healthcare use cases related to Revenue Cycle Management processes such as claims filing and adjudication.

Main Responsibilities

  • Developing AI/ML models using Python and SQL to enhance business operations and optimize healthcare data workflows.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to align AI solutions with business objectives and communicate the potential of AI in healthcare operations.
  • Designing data ingestion pipelines and managing data transformation processes to support AI/ML model development.
  • Evaluating various ML algorithms, ranking them by performance, and optimizing them for real-world deployment.
  • Exploring and analyzing large healthcare datasets, identifying patterns, and understanding data distributions that could impact model performance.
  • Implementing data cleaning techniques to ensure data integrity and quality before feeding it into machine learning models.
  • Training machine learning models, fine-tuning their hyperparameters, and ensuring optimal performance through continuous model evaluation.
  • Deploying machine learning models to production, integrating APIs, and supporting operational use by business users.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • At least 5 years of hands-on programming experience in AI/ML development.
  • 3+ years of experience in building Deep Learning, Machine Learning, and AI models, especially in the context of large datasets and healthcare.

Technical Skills

  • Proficient in Python, R, SAS, or Matlab.
  • Expertise in classification, clustering, and other machine learning techniques.
  • Experience in handling and visualizing large datasets.
  • Strong command of SQL (especially MS SQL), with the ability to work with structured and unstructured data.
  • Familiarity with popular machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.

Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000 per year
