Electrical Test Technician

Brock Solutions is a customer-centric, performance-driven, team-based engineering solutions and electrical panel manufacturing company with multiple offices and global reach. We are currently hiring for a full-time, day shift Quality Electrical Test Technician at our location. This role is responsible for ensuring workmanship follows regulatory standards and Quality Assurance policies. Key responsibilities include inspecting industrial control panels according to regulatory standards and operational parameters, issuing of UL certification for products meeting all regulatory standards and Quality Assurance requirements, and maintaining Quality Assurance Documentation and Procedures. The ideal candidate will have solid verbal and written communication skills, excellent problem-solving, time-management and multitasking skills, attention to detail, and ability to perform in a high-paced Team environment. Experience in industrial control panel fabrication and testing, knowledge of PLCs and related equipment, and basic computer knowledge including MS Outlook, Word, Excel are required. A high school diploma or GED is also required, and a post-secondary pursuit of related technology programs is an asset. Training will be provided as part of this role. The objectives of this role include complying with Brock Solutions' quality assurance standards, improving customer satisfaction, cost management by reducing preventable errors, and diagnosing, documenting and correcting quality issues. Responsibilities may include experience in industrial control panel fabrication and testing, inspecting industrial control panels according to regulatory standards and operational parameters, ensuring workmanship follows regulatory standards and Quality Assurance policies, issuing of UL certification for products meeting all regulatory standards and Quality Assurance requirements, maintaining Quality Assurance Documentation and Procedures, training on Quality Assurance procedures, and panel fabrication. Qualifications required include solid verbal and written communication skills, excellent problem-solving, time-management and multitasking skills, attention to detail, ability to perform in a high-paced Team environment, experience in industrial control panel fabrication and testing, knowledge of PLCs and related equipment, basic computer knowledge including MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and solid understanding of electrical schematics and ladder diagrams.
